Signin, Signup and Password:


If you have a kobind.com account and can't log in, try to reset your password using forgot password link from login page. If you're still having trouble, you can try below tips. If you don't have a kobind.com account, register or sign-up for a new account.

How to log into my account?

Go to kobind.com website and click on Login menu and choose Login menu. Enter user and password. You are then logged-in!

How to log out?

Click on Logout button at top right of any page after logging into your account.

Can I have more than one account?

You should not have more than one account for same business module as it is against our platform policy. You can and often should have different accounts for different business area.

For example you can have an account to register your profile, CV, job search or property search etc. You may also have another account to advertise a new job or a real estate property since the other account does not have option for advertisements.

How to reset password?

Click on Login/Signin button at top centre of home page after logging out and click on forgot password.
Alternatively go to account settings and choose - change password

I am not receiving reset password email?

It might take up to 5 minutes to receive the email. It is good to check spam, junk and other relevant folder in your mailbox.
If you do not receive the email - try writing us about the problem through - writeUs option at bottom link.

Lost access to registered email account?

If you lost access of registered email account you could write us about the problem through - writeUs option at bottom link. You might need to have identity proof while contacting us.





Managing Account:


We have put a number of options so user could manage their account well. There are several settings supplied to control your account right from communication, notification or privacy and security.

Changing Email Addresses?

Go to account setting and choose - change email address option. Enter new email address. A verification email will be sent before updating our record.

Changing Email Notifications or stopping altogether?

Go to account setting - notification tab - disable all communication or adjust according to your choices.

Two-step Verification for Improved Security?

Go to account setting - security tab - enable Two-step Verification with preferred choice of communication either email or call or text.

Viewing your groups?

Login in to kobind.com website and click on Profile drop down menu and choose Group from the list. My groups tab at left hand side shows all your groups.

What's the difference between deactivating and deleting my account?

If you deactivate your account it will not be shown to any of your network but it will be reactivated when you login in future. But if you delete your account all your data will be deleted with in few weeks subject to legal or policy violations.

How do I deactivate my account?

Go to account setting - Account tab - click deactivate and select duration before the account would be reactivated.

I deactivated my account. How do I reactivate it?

Just login and your account will be reactivated.

How do I permanently delete my account?

Go to account setting - Account tab - click delete and enter password. You might want to back up your account data before deleting your account. But if you delete your account all your data will be deleted with in few weeks subject to legal or policy violations.





Managing Profile:


It is very important to manage your account well. You should always be careful about what to write in your profile because it would be read by your network. It also think twice before sharing any private information as it can also be disclosed to your network.

How do I know who has viewed my Profile?

Login in to your kobind.com account and click on - profile view from the left menu options.

Editing profile?

Login in to your kobind.com account and click on - Profile drop down option from top and click on - edit profile. Choose appropriate section to edit, add or delete.

Changing profile photo?

Login in to your kobind.com account and click on - Profile drop down option from top and click on - edit profile. Choose Profile picture section to add or delete a profile picture.

What names are allowed on kobind.com?

Your name can not have some or most of the special characters.

How do I change my name?

Go to account setting - Account tab - click edit name.

How can I see what my profile looks like to other people?

Login in to your kobind.com account and click on - Profile drop down option from top and click on - edit profile. Click on your name high lighted next to - Professional Profile heading at top.





Email:


Stay connected with your network through messaging with in your connections. utilize this feature to expand your network by reaching out to extended and potential connections.

Finding Your messaging Page?

Login in to your kobind.com account and click on - profile - you will see Message button at the left side menu.

Who can I send messages to me?

Your connections can send you messages. An advertiser also can send you messages.

Sending messages to Connections?

If you wish to send message to any of your connection, use compose option from the message page and just type their name and you will be able to select their names from the drop-down list.

Sending messages to Multiple Recipients?

You are allowed to send messages to multiple recipients too.

Can I undo an email that has been sent already?

No, you can not undo a message that is already sent.

What should I do if someone is harassing through email?

Please report it using - writeUs option given at bottom of home page or footer section.

Can I retrieve deleted email?

You would not be able to recover a message that is already deleted in most of the cases.





Networking:


You should send an add request to other people whom you know or almost sure that they are relevant to your business area. You can add someone by searching people for your business requirement and sending them an add request. If they approve, you automatically follow that person, and they automatically follow you for activities like posts in News Feed.

How do I add a connection?

When you search profiles you will see - add button which allows you to send an add request. Also when you visit some ones profile you will find - add button. You must select a reason and optionally messages for sending add request.

How do I accept or reject an add request?

When you receive an add request you will get notification. Click on the notification from the drop down on the top and locate any invitation and either approve or reject accordingly.
You can also select - connected member from the drop down on the top then click on - Invitation received button to review all invitations that you received and awaiting your approval.

How do I withdraw an add request I sent to someone?

You can also select - connected member from the drop down on the top then click on - Invitation sent button to review all pending invitations that were sent by you. You can withdraw any or all of them.

I can't send add request to someone.

If your previous add request still pending approval or rejection you will not be able to send new add request to same person.
Also if your previous add request is rejected then you will no longer be able to send add request again to same person. However the receiver will be able to add you if he/she wishes to.

How do I see my network list page?

Login into your account and select - connected member from the drop down on the top and you will see all your network members.

Who can follow me?

At kobind.com virtually everyone on the platform can follow up to certain limit (30K). However you can remove someone from your follower list from the - people following you menu from profile drop-down list.

How do I invite someone to join?

Login into your account and click - Invite Others from the settings drop down list. Please only invite people whom you know interested.

How do I remove someone from my network?

Login into your account and select - connected member from the drop down on the top and you will see remove option to delete someone from your network.





Searches:


Our platform provides a number of search functions for Jobs, Properties, Cars and many more. Infact we would like everyone of you get benefited from our generous search functions across wide business domains.

Searching for Jobs.

Login in to your kobind.com account and click on - job search from - search drop-down menu at top. You can optionally use advanced job search to find more suitable jobs for you.

Using Boolean Modifiers When Searching.

At kobind.com we do not support any boolean search methods. We believe search can be performed by any combination of key words and then applying additional filters to find more suitable results.

Searching for Profiles.

Login in to your kobind.com account and click on - profile search from - search drop-down menu at top. You can optionally use advanced profile search to find more appropriate profiles.





Advertisement:


We try to follow user preferences, likes, articles, activities to target relevant advertisements. User always has option to hide a particular advertisements if it is not relevant or interesting.

How do we decide about what advertisements to show?

At kobind.com we try to apply data science technology to find some sort of matching to find relevant products that we think an user may be interested in. But there are times when our selection may not as good as we think.

What control user has on advertisements?

User can always remove an advertisements that he/she thinks annoying or not particularly interesting.

Does kobind.com works with third-party data providers or collectors?

At the moment we do not work with third-party data providers or collectors but if we decide to do so a notification would be sent to all user about that change in policy and update our policy pages accordingly.





Post and Article:


When user logs-in into his/her account usually he/she would be in the home page where news feed is displayed at the centre. These feeds are constantly changing stories from your network and following list about their post, activities, articles, news, pictures , video or group activities. User can post a story, picture, video or create an article whenever they wish and share it with their network.

How do I post a story?

Login in to your kobind.com account and click on - post and write down anything that you wish - just ensure the content is not violating our policies.

How do I post an article?

Login in to your kobind.com account and click on - article or news letter which will open a new tab with blank article template for you to add content. Once done editing just click on publish. Ensure the content is not violating our policies.

Choosing Visibility of Posts?

Login in to your kobind.com account and click on - post and write down anything that you wish - while posting it choose either public or network only. When chosen public your post will be visible to anyone in kobind.com or even outside of kobind.com such as search portal. When chosen network only your post will only be visible to your network unless anyone from your network shares it with privacy chosen as public.

Deleting a Post or article?

If you are owner of a post or article you will be allowed to delete it - just locate the delete option from the drop-down option given at the right hand side of the post panel and click it.

Hiding a post from Your Feed?

Locate the hide option from the drop-down option given at the right hand side of any post panel and click it.

Why is my News Feed blank?

If you have nobody in your network or you do not follow anyone then your feed can have no or very few feeds. You should grow your network over some time and follow relevant people or channel to get more feeds.





Issue and Updates:


Our team work round the clock to ensure all services are up and running seamlessly but there is always more to do. That is why we try to keep you updated with our currently known issues and if any bottleneck being experienced. Below are the issues that we aim to fix soon.

In the home page sometime post modal or drop-down at right hand side of post does not show-up?

We have noticed sometime the post modal or drop-down at right hand side of post does not show-up. This is due to page loading issue. You need to just refresh or reload the page to get it working.

Content is not displayed in your preferred language despite choosing one from setting page?

We have not yet rolled out full language support but it will be available soon.

Some of other feature in settings do not work?

We are releasing those feature one by one but while it is indeed not best experience for our user but we continuously working to fix those gaps.

We are also working on FinTech space to provide our users a seamless payment experience.
